Maintaining excellence in vegetation management

Investment in machinery, vehicles, skills and people

We are extremely conscious of continually investing in machinery, vehicles, people and skills here at Proarb in order to maintain excellence in vegetation management and retain our reputation as one of the UK’s leading arboricultural companies.

Investment in Machinery & Vehicles

Much of the success of our work depends on having the right machinery to tackle the project. For example, gaining the remote controlled Flailbot allows us to access otherwise inaccessible, steep areas whilst our new Izuzu D Max 4 x 4 with customised tipper body allows to work in remote previously inaccessible areas whilst providing built in welfare facilities.

In the past month, we have taken delivery of 5 new Forst TR6 Woodchippers, the customised Izuzu 4×4, and the new Crane fed Wood Chipper TP 270.

Investment in skills

Not a week goes by without one of the team (or more) undertaking a Continual Professional Development (CPD) course. HSEQ is continually changing and we need to ensure our team always have the up to date knowledge and skills.

Investment in the Proarb team

As well as improving the knowledge and skills of our existing team, we continue to grow the Proarb team in line with project demands. This month we have welcomed Andrew Roberts, Utility Aboricultural Surveyor, and Guy Payne, Tree Climber.
